Fred Perry Men’s Authentic AW12 Collection Featuring British Workwear
For AW12, Fred Perry returns to its roots, with a collection that references the styles and fabrics of
classic British factory and workshop wear of the 1930’s and 40’s. The son of a Stockport cotton
spinner; Fred Perry’s drive and determination was born from a culture of hard work and perfecting
your craft.
The British Workwear collection within the main Authentic collection sees rich wool flannel jackets sit
alongside heavy down coats; layered over textured knits and tri-colour marl sweats. Taking inspiration
from both the factory floor and the working man’s club, the collection features refined but hardwearing
pieces alongside traditional tartan and Oxford shirtings, tipped and plain pique jerseys and fine gauge
merino knits.
This ‘factory-floor’ inspiration is continued throughout the main collection. The overall look is classic
Fred Perry: instantly recognisable but with an edge that caters for the contemporary streetwear
market. Heritage fabrics such as rich tartans and brushed gingham checks punctuate the collection;
used across button-down shirts and layered under waxed canvas parkas and thick Fair Isle knits.
Building on a unique history based on both sports and streetwear, Fred Perry continues to
successfully fuse heritage with contemporary product design.
Key pieces include a selection of wax outerwear- three jackets including the Wax Fishtail Parka are
stand out pieces. Heavyweight down jackets are an entirely new addition to the collection, traditionally
quilted and lined for the ultimate in durability and insulation. The Down Expedition Parka is both
stylish and practical. Another key piece is the casual Twill Cotton Blazer, with three pockets and a
garment treated surface this is the perfect piece to complete any smarter Fred Perry look. Lastly, a
brand new outersole is debuted on the best-selling Clayton winter boot with suede upper.
Prices start from IDR 564.500 for a t-shirt to IDR 6.635.500 for a jacket.

The Domestic Workers Convention includes specific provisions to protect migrant domestic workers, including detailed requirements to regulate private employment agencies, investigate complaints, and prohibit the practice of deducting from domestic workers' salaries to pay recruitment fees. The convention also requires that migrant domestic workers receive a written contract that is enforceable in the country of employment and requires governments to strengthen international cooperation to protect domestic workers.
